UK bingo should not be confused with the similar version of bingo being played in America. The difference rest in the way the numbers are called and the tickets themselves. For those of you who are not familiar with UK bingo but have played American bingo, your first surprise would happen when you first walk into the hall, church, club or where ever there is enough space for chairs and tables.

You may even find yourself in a designed bingo club. You would purchase a volume of voucher, instead of sheets of paper with the number grid as found in the USA. Players usually participate among one to six books. The playing will be separated into sessions along with diverse books, each containing a designated number of pages. These books contain all the possible numbers in diverse units. Try wrapping your head around that, walking in from your neighborhood Catholic Church in America where you know what the range will be with each section called. American bingo is not rocket science; however, UK bingo will take some learning and getting used to. There are twenty-seven spaces, arranged in nine columns by three rows. This is only part of the universal difference.

Each row contains five numbers and four blank spaces. Each column contains one, two or sometimes, three numbers. The rules and regulations can be researched and adapted to if you would like to start a different game with your friends.
