This wasn’t always the case though; in fact this game had little to no popularity at all when it was first introduced to the United States of America. Originally this game was called 21 but when revisions were made to try and popularize the game, it was changed. The only difference in I the game was if a player is dealt a blackjack of spades or clubs and an ace of spades the payout would be 10-1.
